ASIAN BIAS, after working there for a while you'll hear about other workers who were promoted faster based off their looks and ethnicity. I didn't believe it at first but then when they promoted someone who came in the same time as me and took less shifts I started to understand, high ups always wanted to talk to them rather than any of the other associates. Rude customers! You'll get some entitled customers demanding refunds or free credits and tokens for stuff that was either out of your controll or their fault. I had this one lady get ticked off that the time play cards "only work on boy games" and she didn't want her granddaughter playing any of those types of games so this Karen came to me at the register and made a big deal about it and when I said I couldn't do anything about it because it was a part of the party package she bought she demanded to speak to my manager. Understaffed! I'm not sure if this is a problem anymore since either haven't gone back to talk to anyone in close to a year but when I worked there we were constantly understaffed and then when there was no customers we'd have too many workers. There were times when I'd have my coworker call off last minute and I'd have to run the whole entertainment section practically by myself, sometimes a manager would be able to cover a spot for me for a bit but that wouldn't last too long as they were busy with other stuff sometimes. Small storage rooms, this one is a smaller problme but the storage rooms at the Round 1 I worked at were really small and cramped, there were times we had to stack boxes on top of each other to make room and even then some boxes wouldn't fit in the storage rooms so we'd have them along the wall of the bowling alley or right outside of the storage room unattended or guarded.
