Not too bad

Pros

Lots of learning opportunities, salary is not bad when compared to competitors. Able to start on project management early as compared to similar companies as well. Fellow engineers are very friendly and welcoming, and willing to teach if time allows. Depending on project, work-life balance is pretty good.

Cons

Unfortuntely, projects with work-life balance are far and few between. Salary may not be worth the hours you're working for, benefits are poor (though it may be the same among the industry peers I suppose). Even with not many leave days, many engineers end up being unable to take it as they are too busy and contract does not allow carry-over. Learning opportunities are good if youre in the right projects but it comes at the cost of your time and balance. Your direct manager isnt really managing you, more of just a sales engineer that talks to you occasionally. Sometimes over-pushing sales to hit sales KPI but lack of talent management results in not having enough engineers for project Your project manager would be managing you provided they have time. The efforts in retaining staff are minimal, and engineers are left to deal with the extra work load when people are resigning. Bonuses are average (approximately 14-14.5 months including AWS)

Pros

Overall, Rovisys is great for a first job out of college. Pay is decent, as is vacation, 401k match, and healthcare. In this field of engineering, it's pretty run of the mill.

Cons

Biggest problem is the company is small, so there is limited room for advancement. Once most people hit Project Engineer I, they don't stay around for much longer, because there's less room for advancement and they pay isn't worth the stress of managing and executing projects

Pros

- Great staring job off of college - Ability to travel full time

Cons

- No work life balance ; it is strictly based on projects you're involved with
