Management seemed somewhat clueless about, uninterested in, and unable to facilitate the actual work being done. I was criticized on my lack of productivity, skill, drive, passion and interest in my work, evidence being having worked with only one type of product, too slowly, and bringing some private concerns into work. I was not put on a PIP and was not scheduled for internal education. I was then encouraged to quit, as i was considered incompetent and not qualified for the position. I accepted and agreed with the companys asessment of me, part because of my own shortcomings, and part as i felt the instructions i recieved to improve the situation were impossible to follow. However, i initially refused quitting, and requested to get laid off. This escalated the conflict with the company, something i did not desire. Short thereafter, i decided to quit.
