Pros

The people of RubinBrown are incredible. The work is challenging, and the culture is hard to beat.

Cons

The pay is far, far below the Robert Half salary guide. The culture in all offices is controlled by the very conservative St. Louis office. "One Firm" concept is a cop out and only applied when it is convenient to management. Best Places to Work surveys come out each year, and not once has any change been put in place in response to the surveys.

Pros

A lot of experience and a good foundation for a career in public accounting.

Cons

Some young and immature staff create drama that management doesn't deal with.
