      Pros

      The leadership is very fair and reasonable. If you are self-motivated and you are looking to move up this Rural looks to promote from within when possible. The claims positions all work remotely which increases our family time and decreases your time on the road.

      Cons

      It's a smaller company so although they do look to promote from within when it possible they may not have as many opportunities as larger companies.

      My experience at Rural Mutual Insurance has been amazing. Everyone is treated with respect and value, and management encourages and supports all of it's employees. The culture is one of being supportive to work together for the benefit of all.

      Cons

      I have not experienced any negatives in my many years working here.

      Pros

      I love my job, great people always there to help and support you. Great pay and flexible hours for my position. I have learned alot about Insurance in the three years I have worked here.

      Cons

      Training can be difficult if you start with no experience but definitely gets easier as time goes on.
