Pros

-Great working environment (near the Country Club Plaza and UMKC campus) -Good culture with friendly staff and work/life balance -Since the Lindt acquisition a few years ago (previously family owned), there is more transparency and bonus opportunity for most employees -Typical corporate benefits, but nothing special (there is plenty of candy around the office & an employee discount at the retail stores)

Cons

-Lower than market pay (might be why there is a fair amount of turnover) -Ability to be promoted seems very limited, and many new positions are filled from the outside or from transfers from other Lindt companies -There is no career ladder in place

Pros

I loved customer service and working the register. That part was fun!

Cons

The boss was my con. No one trained me. When I asked the boss for help she was "busy". Then after my shift was over for truck day she said we barely got anything done, YET I had no one to tell me where to put everything! She also pushed me every single day to work more hours even though I was hired part time. Nothing was ever good enough. She broke rules, but knit picked my every move. She took 30 minute breaks and I worked 10 hour shifts and got NO BREAK!!! Ridiculous! Also, my co-worker worked 60 hours a week. When she was gone, my boss said she is lazy! That is unprofessional!
