Culture and day-to-day experience varies highly depending on the area or department you work in. Great people, great ideas, wonderfully exciting place to work
Cons
Administration can be oddly old-fashioned for an institution that wants to be innovative and forward-thinking and there are two sets of standards for Administrators/Staff vs. Faculty. HR values rules and processes (IE standard worktimes, must not deviate from set hours, very little telecommuting flexibility even though for employees that thrived during the pandemic).
