      Pros

      The benefits are good. The ablity to learn more within ones position available and can be accessed through tution remission. All of Rutgers is not the same when it comes to management and department culture...It varies with divisions and departments.

      Cons

      Cronism culture is apparent within the department. Some manager do not have a lot of responsibilities or hold enough skills to manage. People who gets promoted do not get training for the promoted responsiblities in regards to management.

      Pros

      Rutgers has been my best employer thus far. Avantages here include high standards for a work product that is comparable to any corporate environment, work/life flexibility, atmosphere of openess and respect, and lots of training and educational opportunities. As of now, benefits and vacation time are excellent.

      Cons

      Compensation could be better, but tuition is waived for dependents. Have to pay for parking. Rutgers is a large place, so experience varies greatly based on your department.
