      Pros

      The professors I work for are very knowledgeable and organized. I enjoy the research I do and teaching students in lab classes. The career services at Rutgers are also very nice and helpful.

      Cons

      I am personally not a fan of the location. New Brunswick is a town dominated by undergraduates, a lot of whom love to drink and party. Also, many of the students are not very motivated to learn, which can make teaching them difficult and tiresome.

      Outstanding benefits, vibrant location, diverse campus community, wide variety of cultural and academic offerings, solid support from administration, friendly and helpful staff

      Cons

      The university is a large place to navigate causing some run around when you're trying to complete tasks, often the layers of bureaucracy get in the way of efficiently getting work done
