Pros

The role to help make a student-athlete's experience a rewarding one. Being involved in athletics.

Cons

Compensation is very poor for every single phase of the department outside of football and basketball support staffs. Every decision made has budgetary concerns, down to buying a pencil. Best interest of the department as a whole is not the main factor in decision-making, money is.

Pros

Work was primarily with projectors and basic technology. Training was provided and each shift was very simple. Fair and competent leaders, as well as a fairly regular pay raise helped make this the ideal job for any college student.

Cons

Pay started out near minimum wage but did not stay there long if you work hard and diligently. Sometimes the work is tedious and other times it can be quite stressful. In other words, work experience is not consistent.
