Pros

The huge advantages of myRyan cannot be overstated. The ability to be so flexible in where, when, and how you work is great. Ryan focuses on the results you provide, not the number of hours of "facetime". The bonus structure allows the earning potential to be much higher than other firms.

Cons

The bonus compensation can also be skewed depending on your location, practice, and with whom you work with in the company. It is the luck of the draw until you reach management/upper management. Then it can also be difficult since accounts/clients aren't easily given up or shared. The transition to management is where I have seen the most problems, occasionally leading to individuals leaving the firm.

Pros

I came from a firm that offers similar tax services and boasts that its CEO and employees are the best, brightest, and happiest. But Ryan hands down has that company, and all others, beat. I never experienced true work/life balance until I joined my team at Ryan, and I absolutely love it. MyRyan is a game changer. The pay is great, the benefits are better than I've ever had, and there are amazing health perks and incentives that show Ryan really cares about the physical and mental well being of its employees. Plus, there are a ton of opportunities for travel!

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to get out on different floors to meet/see everyone, but there are also a lot of networking opportunities where we all get to interact together.
