Pros

Employees are evaluated on their results and treated like adults. Everyone is too busy to micromanage their employees. The flexibility to accomplish all you want at work and in life is tremendous! The culture of not only recognition for a job well done but also appreciation make this an incredible place to work.

Cons

The pace of life at Ryan is incredibly fast, and things sometimes get rolled out before they are fully baked. It is sometimes hard to stay in the loop on decisions that directly effect you and your work. That said, you just adapt and keep moving forward. The benefits outweigh the downside.

Unbelievable the way this company treats its employees

Pros

If you are hard working, good at your trade, and efficient at your work, you will be highly respected. The benefits and compensation is second to none. I have been at a lot of companies in a support staff role, and never have I seen benefits this high across the board. The ability to work from home is a life saver (and a lot of companies are taking this away).

Cons

As with any company it depends on the manager you have as to how well you integrate into the organization.

Ryan Employees Smart and Professional

Pros

The people working at Ryan are the smartest and most professional in client dealings that I've ever worked with.

Cons

The compensation model varies by practice group and doesn't work well for everyone, but it certainly does provide incentive to get refunds for clients if that is the goal. Also, the red tape necessary to get approvals for purchases is extremely onerous.
