Pros

Overall great company to work for. My old job if something came up out of nowhere like a doctors appointment it was always the biggest issue to try and find a good date to have it on but with the MyRyan system that Ryan uses you are able to work on your own time to an extent to help you not stress about appointments or having to pick up your kids from school. The CEO Mr. Ryan seems great too. You can tell he's willing to listen to other people to help shape the company which motivates you to work hard. He does a good job of recognizing employees who stand out. I only met him a few months ago and yet now every time I run into him on his way out to lunch he somehow manages to remember my name. Overall great experiences and opportunity here.

Cons

The team your on effects your opportunity quite a bit, you are able to transfer to other teams though especially if you are doing well but somewhat of a hassle.

Pros

Ryan is a company that is always looking to grow, evolve and succeed on every level. Everyone in the firm is driven to be the best, and it certainly shows in the approach to both external business and internal process management. Communication within the firm is key, with the CEO holding monthly "Team Talks" to share key updates and conduct essentially an AMA. It's great to have that level of candidness, and keeps morale high. There are a lot of great people that work here, and the firm is getting more and more attuned to keeping functions aligned and focused on common goals. Accountability is key, and a central tenet of the firm's values.

Cons

With a firm full of high achievers, there can be a tendency to place work-life balance in the rear view mirror. This isn't necessarily something that's forced upon others, but a behavior that can be contagious if not monitored. Bonus calculation policies are a little tougher to come by than desired. In order for someone to strive to be the best, they should be equipped with all that information ahead of time.

Pros

I absolutely love working at Ryan. The key factors that keep me motivated are the work ethics of the Partners I support, the dynamic leadership of Brint and the Executive Team, and of course .... the myRyan program that allows greater flexibility for employees to work anywhere as long as they maintain integrity and punctuality in getting the job done.

Cons

None to report. I'm a military vet, and I've worked for both public and private sector companies. Ryan understands the value of its people force.
