      Pros

      The people are great and many employees have worked for Ryder for 10-30 years. Company culture is good and so is the product.

      Cons

      Pay could be better and they are slowly upgrading some antiquated internal software to more cloud-based systems. There is no real new hire training/onboarding program and it's hard to get things done efficiently.

      Pros

      I received adequate compensation. I was allowed adequate bereavement time.

      Cons

      Communication between departments and between shifts did not take place. Adequate scheduling did not exist. This particular location’s training practices were highly inadequate. Safe protocols were barely if at all followed unless OSHA or other auditing entities were present. Goals and achievements were never properly explained. The life balance experience was horrible.
