Pros

The TMC is a professional and relaxed atmosphere. Local management is competent and they their best to raise employee moral.

Cons

As a 3PL, the pay is low and the benefits are a bit meager compared with competitors, but especially compared with other transportation companies. We have not had a raise on at least three years, four for some people.

Pros

Get to work autonamously Peers are extremely supportive

Cons

Field organization is a nightmare Corporate has no idea or does not care to engage in what is really going on in the field. Company is based on selling a service the service is sub par at best Pricing is higher than competitiors management does not address this at all Compensation is based on profitablility of transactions which is nonexistent. No support in the field account manager is responsible for all aspects of the account-glorified customer service. Current head of sales leads by intimidation does not value the role of professional sales people
