Pros

Better than unemployment. Very casual culture: jeans and flips type of place. Can set your own hours.

Cons

Low starting pay. Advancements & merit raises are far and in between. If and when you do get a raise, don't be insulted if it's only 5 to 10 cents an hour. Rising healthcare costs due to aging and fattening staffs.

Pros

decent pay, nothing else applies

Cons

not enough room here--in a nutshell-- upper management only looks at numbers. if you cheat, fudge numbers, adjust mileages, perform pm on sunday at home (Michigan) , its ok as long as your numbers look good. If you are honest, ethical, not buddies with the maint mgrs. RUN and dont look back. I was told by mechanics that I care too much, and if you care too much at Ryder, you will have nothing but aggrivation. They were right!!!!!

Pros

Great Office Location The Ryder Name They have three nice conference rooms on the top floor

Cons

No leadership ( CYA & Everyone for themselves) Low Pay Health Insurance is the worst (very high deductibles) VP and above are the only people who have an office Open Office with cubicles and it's so quiet! Office furniture except for those three executive conference rooms is horrible...Give it away to Goodwill already The technology is beyond bad
