      Pros

      The benefits are so so. They should be better for such a large company. The vacation and sick days are equal to everyone else.

      Cons

      The mechanics bonus system is unfair to anyone who trys to be honest and not cheat the system . The system rewards anyone who can juggle there time around to make it look like they are super technicians . Way to go Ryder to come up with a bonus system that rewards cheating and dishonesty

      Pros

      Local management good. Benefits are ok. Vacation time excellent. Safety oriented company. Training on new systems for trucks good. Steady work. Great coworkers

      Cons

      Sometimes more work than mechanics can handle. Always fear of getting fired over the most mundane things. If you have an accident they will find a way to make it your fault. They will work you until 10:30 pm then make you come in the next day at 7:00 am and wonder why you are tired. On call phone is even more problems. Miss a call and threaten getting fired

      Great local employees, lots of support locally. Job description is set out so that you know what you are responsible for.

      Cons

      Lots of corporate bs sometimes, management sometimes holds good people back because of personal reasons, can be a high stress workplace
