      Pros

      Excellent pay. Good benefits. Great training and leadership events.

      Cons

      Highly political and bureaucratic. Ryder worries more about "check-the-box" compliance than actually ensuring their employees "get" the information or even if it's truly applicable to the operation. Not a safe employee environment to work in - lots of unexpected terms, which does not lend itself to the "innovation" they preach about.

      Not enough opportunities for growth although there are "manager trainee" positions. Good 'ol boy company

      Pros

      Ryder is an excellent company to work for. I think the people is their biggest asset. Everyone helps each other and it feels like one is working with family.

      Cons

      In my opinion there are any cons. Ryder is a big company and as such it takes time to implement new technologies and new ideas.
