Pros
S1 provided good room for advancement and provided some good training opportunities. They had some interesting technologies, and there was always something interesting and exciting going on.
Cons
S1 worked its people pretty hard, as it was still kind of in that startup mindset, but it had entered that lumbering enterprise part of their lifecycle. This meant people worked long hours, after hours, on vacation, etc, but had few of the perks that a true startup might offer
