Thank you for your honest feedback. We are sorry that you did not have a positive experience with your site director. The role of the Site Director is to serve as the direct supervisor and coach for a team of AmeriCorps Member Math Fellows. Their goal is to improve the effectiveness of tutorials through weekly observations and coaching sessions. We do everything we can to train our Site Directors and offer them ongoing professional development, so that they can be positive mentors to our fellows.

Pros

Joining SAGA after graduating was the best choice I made. At the time, I also was worried because of some negative reviews. But I am really glad I joined During my time as Math Fellow, my Site Director was very supportive of my growth. Other fellows were awesome people to work with. I learned a lot during my time there. The work was fulfilling. Definitely a good job if you want to get experience/expand your knowledge and perspective. Similar experience as an SE intern, everyone was very supportive. I learned a lot and had a good time there.

Cons

The pay for fellow was a little bit low.
