Pros

- experience working in high school before committing to go to grad school - individual relationships with students - tight knit team at each site

Cons

- like all Americorps programs, it's paid less than minimum wage - extremely limited PTO - very little opportunity to give feedback to management - lots of work, very little compensation, feeling that management takes fellows for granted - wildly different expectations for fellows and site directors, who are paid 4x as much

Pros

Really amazing co-workers and amazing students you get to meet!

Cons

Overworked, little pay, the organization is very top-down, dismissive when concerns are brought up, and tends to prioritize the image of the organization than the needs of the students and workers
