Pros

Offers great training, competitive pay, great work-life balance,

Cons

redeployment is a struggle with this company. As there isn't a high priority to redeploy employees to other contracts.

Pros

SAIC has managed to maintain a high moral standard. Exec's are not willing to sacrifice integrity or employees to get a win. SAIC relies on its strong reputation of delivering quality IT solutions to win. SAIC is a family that still cares about its employees and will do what it takes to make sure retention is a number 1 priority. Salaries are more than competitive. SAIC employees have a vested interest in the success as most of us have great stock options within the company so everyone is unified in growing a strong reputation.

Cons

The economy drives contracting among other things. Not a CON specific to the company. I believe everyone feels when the economic situation is poor.

Pros

The hiring process was very fast

Cons

Management is a joke. I was hired under false pretenses, told I'd be focused on one thing then assigned to something else. Management loves to claim that they're transparent, but they frequently lie then blame their people for it. They also like to make you a lead without any compensation or official notice. The contracting world as a whole sees SAIC as a joke.
