      Great place for growth

      Pros

      Great place to grow UX/UI skills and learn to work with DOD clients.

      Cons

      Working with DOD clients presents a lot of red tape. Budget and time constraints can sometimes limit what you can do UX/UI wise do to development time.

      Very good experience one year in

      Pros

      The leadership on all levels for my area are all very competent and friendly. The work I do is interesting, There are plenty of project and funding opportunities in my location. I have had several opportunities for a raise within my first year, and there are incentive programs within SAIC that allow for smaller one-time bonuses. The employees I interface with have all been pleasant and skilled at their job. SAIC does a lot to keep its employees engaged and involved with the company at large. Hours and work schedule are flexible and I feel like I have good work/life balance.

      Cons

      Compensation is lower than competitors. IT security is strict to a fault, and prevents efficient workflow with any SAIC-procured system.
