      Pros

      Great health care, when its good at Sam It's good. When it's Bad it's Bad!!!

      Cons

      The Dallas Office is ran like a big High school, lots of cronyism, fraternization and cliques. If you don't fit into their box you will be shunned like a plague.

      Pros

      I have worked at SAM for over 4 years in the Dallas office. The upper management and project mangers are great. They allow us to do our job without being micromanaged. Every Wednesday some sort of breakfast is brought in (tacos, donuts, etc.), and the admin staff coordinate a semi-regular monthly catered lunch.

      Cons

      I can't think of any cons. It really is a great place to work.

      Good 401(k) match Good product mix Can-do attitude Good surveying technology

      Cons

      Attrition rate is 25% in the best of times, which is 5 times normal. This contributes to a culture of backstabbing. Middle management hoards information so they will look more capable and in a downturn they will not be let go. Middle management lies on a regular basis.
