-Ability to work international on projects/job opportunities -Respected company amongst competitors and customers -Smart people everywhere -Strong pay/benefits. -Subsidized lunches (basically free)…..Awesome!

Heavy on travel due to consulting/direct sales atmosphere

It has been rewarding to work at SAP Canada (Vancouver) in which I had the chance to work for 2-3 different dev groups.

Pros

SAP Canada (Vancouver) has great atmosphere and drive for innovation. Definitely great benefits for full-time employees, especially the SAP lunch program card at Yaletown restaurants!

Cons

Compared to other major software companies, SAP Canada (Vancouver) cannot compete in terms of employee basic salary. Recent years many people left because they get paid better elsewhere, and not helping is the high living cost & housing in Vancouver.

Pros

Work life balance in middle management is good. More innovative today than SAP has ever been since ERP started. More pride now that SAP is one of world's top 25 brands (assessed by Interbrand). Communication getting better and feeling that Oracle whilst still strong has had its day

Cons

No work life balance in senior management - sometimes busy-ness and meetings take over and we lose touch with staff. Need closer ties across sales force and supporting teams.
