Very friendly environment. Always willing to work as a team.

Cons

Upper management not receptive to the needs of the staff. Always short staffed. Management almost never willing to help when the department gets crazy busy.

Excellent experience. This position gave me managerial and policy experience as well as working with unions, human resources and in a multicultural environment.

Cons

Hospital waited to become involved in managed care insurances and was not proactive in this area. The salaries were also not that competitive at this time.
