Emergency department leadership is invested in all staff members and transparent. Actively and continually improves work environment, which has lead to high-quality care. Good training environment with great attending physicians.

Cons

Underpaid for the region, but this dictated by the hospital administration and not the emergency department.

Great director, plenty of patients, 50% emergency patients, hospital rotations with different departments, good experience. Good call schedule.

Cons

Bronx area is dangerous. Hospital moral/ethic is absolutely trash.
