      Principle-based Chairman and great workers in the factories.

      Cons

      Lost their way with the awful fellow from Pepsico. I can't believe the leadership allowed the destruction of the culture.

      We’re sorry that you wouldn’t recommend SCJ. We’ve been through a fair amount of change in recent years, and we know it takes some time to settle in after change…but we do believe our unique culture is alive and well. Your post says you were at SCJ less than a year. It sounds like in that time, we didn’t bring to life for you the best aspects of SCJ. We appreciate the feedback.

      Pros

      Slow pace and very relaxed.

      Cons

      Processes are from the dark ages. Everything seems to be controlled from the HQ in Wisconsin, and the team in the UK are just the monkeys who agree to any and everything their masters tell them.

      It sounds like you had a short but frustrating experience at SCJ. It’s true that much strategic direction comes from headquarters, which is the case in many global organizations. But there are also many ways that local operations can make a mark. We’re sorry that didn’t feel like the case for you. We appreciate you sharing your perspective.

      Pros

      Nice work life balance. Good management and staff communication/interaction, meaning you can talk to managers and directors directly without any hesitation. People are generally good to work with and office politics are kept at a manageable level. Management takes extra effort to look after employees.

      Cons

      Salary and benefits could be better. Career advancement as well could be slow but still fine.
