Pros

Good internal work environment, believes in and drives new product innovation, is passionate and proactive in commitment to sustainability initiatives and is ahead of the industry in this area.

Cons

Too centralized & many people involved; hence slow in decision making; not an empowered work culture, only initiatives that emanate from the top get resources; processes are behind peer companies, low on rewards and recognition.

Pros

I worked for several companies, however in terms of colleagues, and especially connections even after leaving I think SCJ is better than the rest. Not too big, but not too small either.

Cons

Tactics and last minute decisions are very common, while I missed the long term strategy and vision (supported by actions). Obviously there was a long term strategy, but the day-to-day business did not always mirror it.

Pros

+Good benefits and competitive salary +Good portfolio of brands +Company full of smart, talented experts (smart people in R&D, marketing, etc.) +Some training and industry workshops available to help you keep up with undustry trends

Cons

-Very political environment. Subjective on how businesses should be run and whats right for the business. -A lot depends on who you work for, but some bosses are idiots or expect way too much from their people -If a business is not performing well or meeting goals, expect a ton of scrutiny and pressure (along with hours). -Making any decision requires having 12 conversations and getting alignment with everyone (everyone wants a say or has an opinion) -Culture going through transformation, placing greater emphasis on speed than ever before -Worklife balance non existance, especialy if the expectation is you login at night and respond to email.
