      Started well due to my optimism, but eventually became frustrating and disappointing.

      Pros

      Nice team for the most part. Hectic, busy work. Descent benefits. Monthly meetings. Meals and treats.

      Cons

      Wide, unjustifiable earning gap between clinical and business staff. At local center, issues of nepotism and favoritism. Local administrator hired relatives and close friends, demanding unrealistic work load from the most ethical employees while promoting, giving raises to the less qualified favorites. Little, if any respect to the chain of command. Relatives and friends could bypass direct management orders as they pleased. No bonuses given to employees bellow management to compensate for performance.

      Pros

      The mission, vision and values are excellent & as a whole everyone lives by them. The vast majority of the facilities and their employees genuinely care about service excellence and integrity. SCA is also very good about hiring/promoting from within. If you put in the work it will be recognized.

      Cons

      There is a huge disconnect between the higher ups at the home office and the employees at the facilities. It appears that decisions are made based on a formula that focuses on the bottom line while completely ignoring the logistics at the local level. Also while SCA is growing & therfore constantly trying to improve, they implement be processes without true explanatory or training. It's a "figure it out/sink or swim" method.

      Pros

      SCA has a great work environment with a good bit of flexibility around work schedules (working from home when needed, etc). The company is rapidly growing resulting in more opportunities for advancement for high performing employees. SCA is made up of some amazing folks that are always willing to lend a hand- I have never been a part of a company with such great teamwork! Management and trainers are always around to assist with anything and everything- you'll never be left on your own to solve a problem. Success is rewarded on a consistent basis whether it be through a quick email, a promotion party, or an SCA ShoutOut on Facebook.

      Cons

      The company is growing rapidly causing a need for employees to work at a rapid pace- there's never a dull moment!
