Good growth company - Need to improve middle management

Pros

This is a company on the move - growing their business and doing well financially. A very young and motivated leadership team with solid rapport among the staff.

Cons

Top leadership is solid, but some very shaky middle management. Unfortunately as the company has grown it's tended to simply promote what were perceived as the staff into management. This has led to some questionable management decisions and some very mediocre leaders in over their heads (eg Integration Leadership)

Daylight, M-F, no call coworkers very kind

Cons

The core values and policies are great and appropriate for this medical environment but it is not practiced. Regulations are ignored in the guise of maintaining low staff hours. There is obvious favoritism and many staff succumb to working this way out of fear of retaliation. New hires under qualified for the areas they are being oriented . I being one of then and no training offered.Employees that have been here for years requested training have fallen on deaf ears. Although I haven't been here long I don't for see me staying long . I value my license .

Cons

Management not consistent, lots of favoritism, lots of retaliation by administration and nurse managers. Voices of staff not heard.
