Pros
There are lots locations to transfer to as there are a number of facilities in most states. Pay is average. Definitely not going above and beyond, doing their employees solids but not low balling either. Caitlin and her corporate minions are getting paid very well so rest easy. Insurance, 401k all average
Cons
Like all medical institutions, sca looks for everyway to screw over their hard working staff. Underpaid and over worked. At the start of 2021 they took away a set number of pto accrual per pay period. Now its per hour worked. They said they did this as its industry standard. But why not go above industry standard and do awesome things for their employees??? Pay is very average. Maybe in corporate positions pay and incentives are be better. Its a very "woke" , inclusional company, at least on the corporate level. Sca loves celebrating every hip, modern movement de jour. My work email is clogged full racial injustice in the work place emails. Race this race that, blah blah blah.. if thats your thing consider that a positive. Its all a facade as it always is with companies. On a whole sca is an average place to work. Most depends on your facility you work at. It will be a lateral move. Not the worst place but absolutely not the best. Money, shareholders and status is their priority. Employees are way down that list.
