Pros

- Great learning opportunities, with lots of responsibility quickly given to you - If you end up with a good regional manager, you have a lot of autonomy and support

Cons

- Your experience depends heavily on who your regional manager is. There is wide range in the quality, experience, and support provided by the regional managers. - Lots of recent regional managers hired from outside the company with healthcare background, but with no operations background. We end up with a lot of talk about how things should work, but not a lot of talk about how they actually work, and not a lot of helpful ideas of how to make them work better. - Heavy focus on improving metrics, without understanding the related investment in time or resources needed to make it happen. - You often feel like you are reinventing the wheel. - Very challenging to find work/life balance.

Pros

Great benefits, alot of PTO, good pay.

Cons

The company is growing faster than the teammates can keep up with. Too many high expectations without the necessary resources. Management can hardly ever take any time off due to always needing to be accessible. There is a lot of favoritism in management and it is hard to hold people accountable when the director is their friend. There was significant structure change in revenue cycle a year ago, since that time there is little confidence in upper management. The "sorority" attitude comes off as very fake and condescending. The teammates are smarter than upper management thinks and is getting tired of the lies.

Pros

Great people who work hard, but under appreciated and under compensated.

Cons

Meat grinder. Very low pay. Expectations for employees to work ridiculous hours with no overtime, no bonus and no incentives. The new overtime law should be a wake up call for SCA, which serves them right! Unfortunately, due to the limited job opportunities in the Birmingham area, many teammates feel trapped to leave this company. It would about make sense to work at Target close to minimum wage than work here ridiculous hours with no extra compensation and losing your sanity.
