It's a job and they do pay you. Insurance isn't the worst I've seen.
Cons
No one here has any idea what they're doing. Seriously. They're pushing AI, but half the people struggle to use basic tools to do their jobs. And they don't even know what they're trying to push or how to push it. Just attach AI to literally everything and apparently that's good enough. They're stuck in the middle of desperately wanting to advance because the parent company is forcing it, but insisting on doing things in the most outdated backwards ways possible. They're trying to be some cutting edge company with the wherewithal of a mom and pop in the deep south. Speaking of the parent company, everyone here is going to be in for a very rude awakening when they finally force that integration and most of them lose their jobs. It's coming. Optum clearly doesn't want to wait anymore and it costs them money to allow SCA to continue functioning as an unintegrated entity. In the meantime, SCA laid off a huge portion of their workforce to try to remain looking profitable. But it just isn't going to be enough.
