Expensive insurance premiums. There is a bit of “performance punishment” where the top performers get rewarded with more work, meaning they do double the work for the same pay as their peers.

Pros

I work with a great team. I enjoy my job and love that it’s remote. Leadership cares about your work life balance.

Cons

Merit increases are minimal. Especially when the cost of living has skyrocketed. If you are in line for a promotion don’t expect too much more than what you’re making now. Insurance is average. Considering they are healthcare you’d think the insurance would be better.

- great team environment - no call, weekends or holidays - no super late days - doctors are generally nice, respectful and great at what they do

Cons

- upper management (practice CEO, etc) have no medical background and do not understand how hard their workers actually work or what they do on a day-to-day basis - lots of 'lip service' from practice CEO and above - ie generalized praise but no monetary increase -2% annual increase per year. not even anywhere close to inflation or the 8% --increase in benefits cost last year by 8% - actually bragged that they increased the maternity leave from 1 week to 2 weeks! - $500 bonus annually, which ends up being around $250 after tax...not really a bonus in most peoples opinions
