Pros
It is rewarding, and they provide insurance if need be. There is growth opportunity for teachers and community trainers. It is a great place to gain experience. IF you get into a classroom with a good team, the job is fun, and even on challenging days, it doesn't feel that bad. Summers off!
Cons
Aggressive behaviors and verbal abuse from students are taxing—low pay for as hard as you work. Staff are overworked and underpaid. Certain admins can sometimes be rude and disrespectful.
