      Poor Senior Management

      Pros

      The company has great potential and is owned by a Canadian Parent. It is building a third plant. There was only one three years ago. The business is out there.

      Cons

      Leadership at plants change 1x to 2x per year. Average management tenure is less than 3 years at plants. President sets all expectations and pricing. Then blames the plants when they cannot deliver. Plant management teams are in constant turmoil. Current and former VP's have not been trusted for good reason. A lot of good people left and most of the remaining are looking for better opportunities.

      Pros

      Working with some good people in the office. Free health benefits.

      Cons

      The office is split. There is a very hard language barrier between the office workers and the production line workers which makes it difficult to do a good job. No body seems to know what to do. Benefits aren't all that great, even though they are free.

      Pros

      Steady pay check, pays overtime at time and a half. Considering the nature of the manufacturing, is relatively clean

      Cons

      Corporate management is totally detached from plant management and has a "one size fits all" approach. It has no concept of corporate culture, or how one plant's culture can be different from another based upon the hiring pool. Management within the plant doesn't even support each other, and frequently undercut each other.
