Pros

Provide sufficient amount of training for fresh out and non-Oil & Gas comers, and it's repetitive. So you will eventually standard safety mind set after few years which is very critical for working in Oil & Gas Industry

Cons

French World (The way they handle problems, promotion, policy, and people are very much French Bureaucratic Way) by French managers in key management role. This company is definately good company to start your career in Oil & Gas, but after 10 years not so much. This company focuses mainly on people below 35 years old. After 10 years working there, the company automatically identify you as a safe employee (never quit), so they provide not much attention or promotion to them. Some French management is very rude. In the meeting room in Houston, they sometimes speak only French at the begging, even though majority of the attendees were non-French speaking.

Pros

Good exposure to technology, good company operating system, good gas system.

Cons

Disorganized management, schedule is erratic especially when you’re a new hire, promotions not made by merit but by “exposure” to the office, really good DAs are overlooked for progression so they can keep the project running.

Pros

Competitive compensation, international travel, technologically advanced

Cons

Bonus policy administered at the will of management, less than 24hr work schedule notice, failure to honor vacation time, disregard for accrued time off, stagnated work-force, failure to invest in future generations. A bloated giant drowning to survive in a long-term down market with an unsustainable business model for the future.
