Pros

If you want to travel and experience remote locations as well as different cultures, then this job is for you. The pay is pretty decent for recent grads. They offer a pretty good benefits package.

Cons

As I said before the pay is pretty good for a recent grad, but during the training period (3 years) you wont have a life. Work schedules are 24/7 on call. You could work 120 hours or more in one week with no over time pay because you are on salary. You're life basically revolves around the company with no time to enjoy the money you are making. You work schedule is pretty simple for the first 10 months of training, 24/7 on call with no days off, unless you ask your manger for one and he/she feels like you deserve it.

Pros

Interesting technology and boundary conditions in the technical problems that one has to address.

Cons

They do not support people with vision who want try risky technology projects. A bit narcissistic in the way they see and talk about themselves; this self perception does not allow them to see what they are loosing. The emphasis in engineering of existing tools is producing an unnecessary reduction in innovation in research. The number of NT5 (new technologies 5 years) projects is almost null due to that approach.

Pros

Great to company to start with -- get exposure to technology, operations, business side very quickly. People with ambition move up very quickly if they are willing to move geographically and take up different challenges. Very diverse workforce. Anybody can succeed and grow! Great training, great hands-on experience. Responsibility comes quickly! One of the technology leaders in the service industry. Good place to get exposed to high-tech and see future technology trend! Very dynamic!

Cons

work/life balance is not there hectic nature of business (service company!!!) personal considerations are not always met people management could be quite bad, HR department is generally useless need to do a lot of Networking to have any "control" of you career with higher seniority This company is great when you are young, willing to work hard and move fast. But you have to be completelly mobile and be willing to go internationally. If you want a steady job with little stress, this company is not for you.
