      Pros

      Great company to work for, great benefits, and a ton of career opportunities. Other than that, they don't have a lot going for them.

      Cons

      The market is very bad this year. They like to lay people off way before the market reacts. Their 3 pillars of success are People, Technology, Profits.... If People are number 1 then why do you lay off 25,000+ people to keep your share holders happy. Also, if you get laid off you're benefits are ended that night. Upper management is run by engineers you'll never see. There isn't a lot of support from local management either. The pay isn't the best in the industry at all. It's subpar, but the career opportunities if you can make it past this market hump are good.

      Pros

      International workforce with opportunities t work in different countries over the course of your career. You can drive your career and there are tools to that make this possible. Most times a culture of respect, diversity and loyalty to the company and what it stands for

      Cons

      Limited career growth for some professions. Will recommend SLB to recent graduate engineers. They train, expose and challenge you so you get the opportunity to learn a lot know what you're made of and can excel in line with that. For lawyers, its different. Your location and the support of your manager can have a huge impact on mobility and even opportunities that come your way. So different people will have different experiences

      The pay was great, and the rotation wasn't too bad. For a job right out of college, it was pretty good.

      Cons

      There was no support system, and the company was not at all focused on the employee.
