Pros

Competitive salary & benefits Borderless career (opportunities to move across function) Structured training program for HR and Technical Centralization of HR Administration Overall, good company and culture with plenty of employee assistance programs.

Cons

No structured development or leadership programs for employees in core non-technical functions (i.e. sales, finance, etc). Sometimes leaves employees stagnant in their careers. Some HR administration burdens the function causing more experienced professionals turning into administrators for 50% or more of their job. Sometimes the borderless career concept causes underqualified managers being moved into roles where their specialized knowledge is not the greatest due to an immediate need. This causes issues in the team and the function or higher turnover. Poor mentorship culture or attitude. Many managers are burdened or do not have time to mentor and coach younger professionals in the company, especially in the functions.

Pros

-Good salary -Employee benefits -International workforce -Multinational experience -Good Learning and training courses -Met some smart people here -Good start for fresh graduates - good salaries, good experience etc -Good learning about management system

Cons

-Poor work life balance, especially if you are in field ( though you might make good money) -Smart people eventually walk away , you are left with stupid people who form senior management -Some field locations are tough , as they are located in remote parts of world -Office jobs are also very demanding, in most of the segment, people are on call all the time. - Salary increase and promotions slow down after first 3-4 years. - Smart people leave the company soon as most of the jobs require physical hard work. - Field jobs are almost blue collar jobs with good money - No mental growth, after few years you will realize that you are getting dumb! :P
