Pros

- Large variety in patient population - at SLEA, you have the opportunity to work at schools, in the clinic, in home, with early intervention, adults... the list goes one! - You can choose to work with a variety of diagnoses or specialize in your area of passion - Supportive staff who encourage collaboration and growth - Reimbursement for continuing education (plus on-site opportunities to obtain CEUs) - Interdisciplinary approach with on-site OT, ABA, Educational, and Counseling services

Cons

With great variety of patient population comes great responsibility - be prepared for submission or regular progress reports for a variety of insurances. However, the company does in fact provide templates which are very helpful.

Pros

I enjoy working here. I feel like I can ask anyone a question, and if they can't help me they will forward me to someone else. I'm a speech therapist, but I feel comfortable going to the other departments for help. I love the clients I have, and I feel like they've done a wonderful job to support me during my transition.

Cons

The company is so large. Sometimes it feels disjointed. Although, they do a great job trying to make it feel like a family during meetings. It's just hard to do during the pandemic and through zoom.
