Pros

First two years of freshers are good after that only politics.

Cons

1. Appraisal process changes every single year, no clarity on the appraisal rating system, unethical means of appraisal are followed. 2. Managers are fools cannot make any decisions and keep personal grudge on resources. 3. People with only 6 to 7 years of exp are made in to managers to save cost, these resources cannot make any independent decisions. 4. freshers are too easily put in higher positions, they start dreaming to quickly of managing a team where are a senior resource is kept on hold with no opportunities. 5. organization automation team sucks, builds tools to capture some data without even understanding the usage of it, if asked questions they get personal and tell resource to stop wasting their time. 6. wont give relieving letter on the SLK letter pad just a photo copy with slk rubber stamp (Saving on bond paper expense). 7. employee retention policy is not at all available. 8. BU HR team thinks that it is the boss and the Current team of BU HR is very rude. 9. Managers change every single year, managers don't participate in any technical aspects of projects. 10. resource allotment is blinded, any resource is allotted to any team screwing up the resources future. (a Automation/development resource can be allocated to manual testing teams). 11. not sure if management is really dumb or act dumb, don't give hike to resources when in org, the same resources leaves the org and joins the org again and these people send them on H1B assignments, with almost double package and higher designation. This I say is heights of lickativity. 12. favoritism is at large, people who lick are favorites and get all the opportunities. 13. no entertainment/amusement factor in the org. 14. rotational based opportunities are also not available, people who go onsite lick QA leads rare. There is more to add to above points but i am getting tired of this now, that's why i left SLK and this conversation. also, many of it has already been covered by others like Compensation, politics etc...

Pros

After every 3 months of work....your project will be changed...so you can make a lot of friends.Very friendly company.

Cons

no one cares for your hard work, your commitment. All they care care about is billing. They want you to work for 12-14 hours a day but don't even pay what should be paid for half of your efforts. Lack of good work. worst place to start your career. they don't stand up to their words, they say something else, pay something else.
