      - Work from home. - Easy account.

      Cons

      - The company does not offer mandatory government benefits such as SSS, Pag-ibig, or PhilHealth. Their reason, we are contractual (freelancers) but the nature of the job does not conform with the contractual job category stated by the labor code of the Philippines, we have fixed time in and out, we have QA, and we have a supervisor and management hierarchy like regular BPO. This company is trying to avoid tax obligations. Clear exploitation of cheap Philippine labor market. - The company can remove incentives, and can lower your monthly salary at any time they pleased.

      Pros

      Working in Smart helps me very much financially, professionally and personally. The permanent set-up of working from home is a big advantage, you can work peacefully in your most comfortable zone.

      Cons

      The only down side of a permanent work from home set-up is that you will not able to interact personally with the people you work with. Like having team buildings, team night outs, eat outs, etc.
