Pros

The product is well established with several clients and continued growth.They aren't going to disappear on you next week. Fully remote work. I found pay to be somewhat competitive for Louisville but perhaps not for some other remote opportunities.

Cons

The product is well established with occasional technical debt and pains that come with modernizing the tech stack a bit. The silver lining is they are actually trying to get ahead of it. Depending on your team, you may be working on a greenfield brand new product or a brownfield legacy product that needs some love and maintenance.

Super supportive team members and management. Great work life balance.

Cons

Slow bureaucracy for raises, promotions, upper level decisions. Required to wear many hats, sometimes outside your role.
