Pros

The only pros I can come up with are that I have the opportunity to work overseas and they have an okay benefits package.

Cons

Where do I start? First of all, I have been in the contracting world for over a decade in both deployed and non-deployed environments and I have to say this company here is by far the most selfish, unforgiving, and incompetent company I have ever worked for in the defense industry. Let me explain...I was hired on to work an overseas contract as an analyst that required at least 10 years experience to even qualify for the position and their offer for the overseas position was on the low side for experience requirements, but not unreasonable...no relocation assistance for the family and I besides airfare. I worked there for a year when our contract came up for a low-cost rebid. SOSi asked us analysts for our experience and resumes to help win the contract, and they did win...but proceeded to cut all our salaries about 30% and cut tuition assistance for our children...on top of that we were repeatedly lied to by upper management as to our status that was required for us to remain in the country and would dodge pointed important questions and issues or ignore us completely. Every request that has been made for simple exceptions such as charging the company for mandatory work-related situations were immediately denied by upper management. The only time we got a response from upper management was for them to deny requests. When we did get any news or visits from upper management, they were defensive in nature and they would make excuses for things like the pay cuts and overall crappy treatment such as, " this is the best you're going to get here in the contracting world right now, it's like this everywhere". I'm not even going to get started on how their payroll system is so lacking technologically that it makes me wonder if this company hasn't been circling the bankrupcy drain for a while now. Also, it's the holidays and we didn't receive anything but a horribly deceptive holiday email sent from the CEO on how great things are looking from his perspective...sickening. No card, small gift or even a holiday dinner...just a pay cut. Thanks.

Pros

-A lot of Military Veterans -Company events -Great people to work with but depends on the group you are going to

Cons

-Few backstabbers -Don't care for their minions -Poor raise/performance review -When you find a new career, HR will burn your relationship bridge with the SOSi by telling insiders lies.

Pros

Mid-sized company that is reinvesting into its infrastructure and leadership to grow organically and through acquisition. Good corporate citizen within the local community and very supportive of military veterans

Cons

Although very successful, no longer a small business eligible for small business set-aside so always competing against the large companies
