Dozens and dozens of hours of online workplace HR training. HR was never actually involved or helpful aside from sending the correct training links after 5 faulty attempts. Managers are the "I'll see what I can do" type, yet need reminding of basic issues important to all employees.

Cons

5 "managers" for every 4 tasks Growing company means daily infrastructure is always changing. Gossip, alcohol, workplace relationships, politics are all far too common - especially involving senior managers. Hopefully the environment changed for the better,

Never really felt in tune with company changes/news. Lots of closed door meetings by directors - most changes happened rapidly/suddenly.

Over the past several years, we have placed a lot of emphasis on employee well-being through benefit programs like flexible time off, paid caregiver, volunteer, sick, and paternity leave, and other health and welfare programs. We understand the importance of communication and continue to find various ways to broaden lines of communication through regular RiSE updates, all employee meetings, department meetings, and employee engagement activities.
