The management don’t appreciate their employees. They don’t promote employees, even though was getting excellent annual performance reviews.

This was a great company before they started to downsize their contractor workforce. They will work with you if a family member becomes ill, and overall they have a good work/life balance.

Layoffs every summer, non competitive wages, no longer promotes from within

Our employees are what makes SPX such an engaging and innovative place to work, and we strive to work together when things arise in our employees' lives. Through a variety of training and development programs, including skills development and leadership development at varying levels in the organization, we provide opportunities for growth. As we believe in developing our talent, these opportunities have turned into promotional opportunities for a number of our employees. Regarding the concerns about summer layoffs, our businesses are varied, and some offer temporary, seasonal work for certain types of positions. Due to the nature of the work, these specific positions may have limited duration. We appreciate your feedback and contribution to SPX.
