      Small Company Feel Has Its Benefits and Its Drawbacks

      Pros

      SRS definitely still has a 'small company' feel in how it operates vs a multi-billion dollar organization. Everyone is always willing to help and there is not a lot that is bogged down by overly-bureaucratic structure or gatekeeping. The company's mantra is 'consider it done' and there is something special about rallying as a team to accomplish small tasks or larger goals.

      On the flip side, SRS has a 'small company' feel in how it operates vs a multi-billion dollar organization. People are always willing to help but sometimes that means they step out of their lane to weigh in on an outcome they don't have the expertise to influence. Folks are given a chance here in roles that they may not have the skillset for, which sets them up for failure and creates a strain on team members and other departments that have to interact with them. The company operates under the 'consider it done' principle, but frequently at the expense of long-term planning, scalability, and sustainability,

      Job security, lots of overtime, sometimes you get bonuses

      Cons

      Overtime is excessive and mandatory. It is nice to have in your paycheck but it is hard on your body. There is no work life balance. I could not do anything during the week after work with my family because I was always too tired from working long days. Expect to work 12 hours per day, sometimes more.
