Pros

They pay you money (minimal amount)

Cons

Overworked staff (would rather have less staff to save wages, ensuring that they have to unnecessarily work twice as hard) Minimal Pay Company is focused on profit more than staff happiness Staff forced to upsell to everyone Crazy Hours Unrealistic targets No bonus payments High turnover of staff Not allowed to accept tips! Greedy company overall

Pros

50% off at other SSP outlets Worldwide. Able to get rewards through staff incentive scheme. £50 for referring a friend.

Cons

Where to start. A company that is so unwilling to invest money in staff wages that their units will never run to their true potential. Read the reviews. This leaves the staff on duty run off their feet, overworked and under appreciated. Prices rise and portion sizes fall leading to bad reviews and customer complaints, guess who gets the backlash? Not the fatcats sitting in their ivory towers or the shareholders. It really isn't worth getting out of bed at 3am for. Training is virtually none existent. A short company induction followed by "on the job" training. This basically involves working a shift as money cant be spared to pay staff to train you or indeed pay you for a training shift. You are a body. A number on a payroll.
